Free pop-up at Westfield Stratford City celebrates the latest Cupidity short film release and it’s pretty cool.
To celebrate the launch of Two, Side, the newest in a series of beautifully-shot short films exploring the trails and adventures of teen love, Cornetto has combined a 3D-sound cinema with immersive theatre, to create a truly unique story-telling experience – ‘Cornetto Beyond the Screen’.
On the outside it looks just like your normal cinema but it has a surprise in store, on entering, visitors to the experience will get a sample of Cornetto’s delicious products in your own personalised holder. From here you are provided with a pair of headphones, where you have the ability to switch between the narratives, from the male or female perspective, of the experience. Your escorted into the cosy cinema to watch Two Sides, as the film reaches its peak the film stops and the screen is lifted to show the actors on stage to play out the rest of the story, it doesn’t stop there, the audience are then asked to leave their seats and are invited to another room to be fully immersed into the cute and impressive story. This is one cinema/theatre experience that will leave you smiling.

Two Sides is part of a series of short films where four international directors have sourced romantic inspiration from all over the world to ensure each film shares a beautiful and compelling love story.
