The action thriller Contraband is based on the 2008 Icelandic film Reykjavik-Rotterdam.
From the beginning to end, the movie is thrilling and keeps you attached, it is typically like most drug baron movies, good guy gets threatened by bad guy to do the dirty work, bad guy threatens good guys family and so on and as always good guy comes out on top. Yay.
Its a well-made action film with strong acting and good directing that takes you into New Orleans, Panama, and their freight ship. It has its funny moments if you have quite a dark sense of humour.
Eye candy Mark Walberg plays a man pulled back into his smuggling past to right the wrongs of his dumb ass brother-in-law to protect his family which includes hottie Kate Beckinsale.
Personally there’s not enough sex, vampires or torture for my liking, I get its not that kind of movie although it is great and certainly worth a watch.
