City Splash Festival has announced even more names to its phenomenal lineup on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May 2024 at Brockwell Park, London.
City Splash Festival formerly announced headliners Capleton, Beenie Man, Shenseea, Busy Signal, Anthony B, Black Sherif, Ding Dong, Libianca, Lojay, Queen Omega, WSTRN and more and have now added Rage MC, Shy FX, Dubwise Jamaica, Ayanna Heaven, Kalia Goddess, Sisters In Dub, Shabba Party, Ghost Dan and many more to perform at the biggest celebration of Black Culture.
The iconic Shy FX, a true luminary in the jungle genre, is known for his dynamic collaborations with artists ranging from Chronixx to Ms. Dynamite. Joining him are the carnival-inspired Shabba Party, setting the stage alight with their infectious energy, and Rage MC, the former frontman of Chase & Status who has now emerged as a formidable solo artist.
The festival’s beats will be driven by a roster of exceptional DJs and selectors. DJ Neptizzle, renowned for his mastery in Afrobeats and Amapiano, will be spinning tracks alongside Dubwise Jamaica, a group revered for their Jamaican sound and parties, returning for their fourth year at City Splash. The lineup is further enriched with the talents of Bossy LDN, Heartless Crew, Seani B, Robbo Ranx, and Shayna Marie, each a vital contributor to the scene.
In a nod to the global diversity of the festival, City Splash will feature specialist DJs from across the world. Becca D, a presenter celebrated for her dedication to reggae and dancehall, will share the stage with DJ Nate, a kingpin of Caribbean sounds, and dancehall connoisseur g33zy. Adding to this impressive lineup is Jordss, founder of ‘Girls Can’t DJ’, known for her work with prestigious brands like Vogue and Louis Vuitton. Brooklyn’s own rising star Talia Goddess will perform alongside vintage dancehall expert Ayanna Heaven and JJess, the official DJ for Pink Pantheress. The festival also welcomes Sisters in Dub, a female-led movement celebrating the power of dub music and sound system culture.
City Splash is not just a festival but a tribute to the roots of reggae and dub. The lineup features Sound System and Jahrevelationmuzik with Horseman & Ricky Rankin, alongside the Bigga U Collective featuring A STARR, Tall Rich & Darnel Keize. Other key acts include Brother Culture, Jus Blaze, Iqulah Rastafari Band, Rebel Clash, General Levy, Ding Dong, and WSTRN. The festival also welcomes Sir DJ Corey, DJ Larni, IQ, Rachael Anson, DJ Pioneer, Coldsteps & Supa D, and D’Yani.
