Meet Me in the Gap the celebrity Autumn film featuring Cher and Future is out now and you won’t believe your eyes when you see Cher pop int o the video.
As the promo video starts, you see a back shot (rear view) of Cher rocking denim jeans and a jacket. At first glimpse, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s Kim Kardashian about to enter the screen, because, my oh my, does Cher look good in those jeans (take note of my little rhythm of screen and jeans).
The video has got me singing, everyday people and will have you humming everyday people too. #MeetMeintheGap celebrates what can be created when distinct people connect and discover they have more in common than what divides them, and for this project, Cher and Future meet for the first ever time and perform a new take on the classic song of “Everyday People,” originally by Sly and the Family Stone.
Cher says,
“I love the idea of ‘Meet Me in the Gap’ because it’s easy to have common ground if you are really open and curious to people from different cultures. I didn’t know who Future was before this but I knew it would be so fun to work with someone who is completely unlike me, and who is young, really talented and striving.”
Future says,
