Ooh there’s nothing I love more than when a brand re-invents itself for the better and TwoAngle have done just that. Launched in 1999 it started off as a collab between a French stylist and a New York designer and we all know the best best things come from a good collaboration, minus Sonny and Cher. Having come from such different backgrounds the duo were able to make something truly special by mixing the European eye for detail with popular US street designs, something you don’t see very often.
Right now the brand is changing things up by developing their campaign imagery and reaching out to a wider audience. The UK seems to be there location of choice as they believe it is what their consumers can relate to. This has resulted in them shooting their A/W13 Lookbook in East London and using alternative British model Billy Huxley to promote their collection.
TwoAngle channels the whole street/skate vibe which became huge in the 90’s but is now popular on a more mainstream scale. The collections have also been inspired by the rap industry, a smart move as the youth of today can easily identify with the lifestyle that they promote. There are so many brands around right now who are all channeling similar clothing but TwoAngle are a bit more polished and do everything with style which is why it continues to be in such high demand.
They have managed to stay true to their urban roots and this seasons collection is no different with loud leopard/camo prints, bold logo t-shirts and beige chinos taking centre stage. Shop now!
