One half of chart-topping DJ duo Chase & Status, Will Kennard launches a series of taster days for his free music school in East London. The free one-day courses take place over 29, 30 & 31 October during half term.
East London Arts & Music (ELAM) is a new, world-class college of music and digital arts opening in September 2014. It is free to attend, based in Tower Hamlets and open to young people (aged 16-19) from across London who can now register for free taster days via elam.co.uk/taster
ELAM will have state of the art facilities, offering courses in music business, performance and production, and is partnered with some of the biggest names from the creative industries.
As well as learning skills to equip young people to work in the music industry, a team of music industry insiders, led by Will Kennard, will further develop students’ insider knowledge. The programme is currently being backed by artists and industry names including Plan B, Mistajam andSBTV’s Jamal Edwards.
