Singer-songwriter Ella Eyre has collaborated with renowned composer David Arnold to blend their distinctive styles of music and record a track for the Bose ‘Urban Conductor’, an immersive live experience, to take place in London and Manchester.
The track, a cover of Pompeii by Bastille, will feature exclusively in the Urban Conductor experience, inviting consumers to create their own personal version of the song using the Bose SoundTrue headphones and then share it over social media. Fans will also get to hear the track as Ella Eyre will kick off the experience by performing the track live at a VIP event at Ely’s Yard, Brick Lane on Thursday 2 October.
The Bose ‘Urban Conductor’ will take visitors on an immersive music experience, including a gallery of digital content and visual art created by up and coming music artists. In addition to the London venue, the ‘Bose Urban Conductor’ will also travel to music capital Manchester, where breaking indie artist Bipolar Sunshine will entertain crowds on Thursday 9 October at the city’s Great Northern Warehouse.
Ella Eyre said, “I’ve worked with a range of musicians in the past but collaborating with David Arnold has been a truly unique and fun experience. He’s an incredible character and I’ve really enjoyed working closely together, applying our music styles and creating a track that is distinctive and will be enjoyed by our fan base.”
David Arnold said “I’ve been involved in many exciting and challenging projects throughout my career, from creating soundtracks for the James Bond films to curating and writing the score for the London 2012 Olympics, but this latest venture with Ella Eyre and Bose has been a unique experience. I think we’ve managed to create something idiosyncratic which blends many styles of music alongside those for which we are more well-known and I hope everyone is as excited about the result as I am.”
Flavour Mag headed down to the star-studded event at the exclusive Hospital Club where invited guests and journalists got to see Ella’s stunning performance. Those attending included; Jack Whitehall, Natalie Dormer and Laura Whitmore. Check out some photos from the bash below!
