The highly anticipated BET Hip Hop Awards 2011 are back again and the team at Flavour Magazine can’t wait!
The event will be shown in America on October 11 and you can look out for repeats on UK TV the following day. Comedian Mike Epps will be back for a third year running to host the show and bring you plenty of laughs in-between watching the winners and losers of the show.
Lil Wayne is running the show this year as he gained a record breaking 18 nominations, putting him way ahead of the game for the most awards won. Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa both came second with 9 nominations each. The event will no doubt be star studded and we can expect as much controversy and unforgettable entertainment as we saw last year. Hip hop’s main event of the year is returning to the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Centre in Atlanta and will begin at 8pm US time.
