1. Lucid Nights Summer Party – Friday 21st May 6pm – 11pm at Pitch Stratford, London, E15.

2. Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience – Friday 28th May 5.40pm onwards 56 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A.

Reopening for summer 2021, this The War Of The Worlds immersive experience will see you travel through a world of virtual reality, live actors and 5D effects experiencing first hand the fear and destruction of a Martian invasion. Your journey begins in The Spirit of Man, a steampunk bar and restaurant on London’s Leadenhall Street… With journalist George Herbert as your guide, you’ll crawl, slide and weave your way through 24 extraordinary scenes, experiencing first hand the fear and destruction of the Martian invasion.

3. Glitterfest Brunch – Bank Holiday Sunday 30th May 11.30am – 4.30pm at Proud Embankment, Waterloo Bridge, Victoria Embankment, London, WC2R.

4. Camden Springfest – Saturday 22nd May 12pm onwards at Electric Ballroom, Camden High St, London NW1.

Bavarian beer festival Springfest comes to Camden for the first time this May. Spring is in the air and soon, ale will be too as beer lovers are invited to clink tankards at this year’s much anticipated Springfest at Electric Ballroom. Springfest is the Bavarian beer festival that started in Munich in 1965 and has since affectionately become known as ‘Little Oktoberfest.’ It is a welcoming celebration of all things boozy and beer-y and is coming to the centre of Camden for the very first time this May.

Pitcher this: you, in the main beer hall with a seat at the long and traditional biergarten tables as smiley servers in authentic dress bring as many trays of beer to you as you fancy. Sound good? Tonight Josephine is taking you back to the very naughty noughties, with a day of divalicious live performances from their very own Britney Queens.
