Bellapierre foundation Review. I swear down these are some of the best products I’ve tried in a long time.
I came across this brand when I went to see what IMAT’s had to offer, which is one of the largest make up shows in the world. Where I found American brand Bella Pierre cosmetics. I had never heard of them before but I found out they are sold in House of Fraser, Debenhams, as well as online.
First things first, I have loved all of the Bellapierre foundation products I have tried. Starting with my favorite which is the Mineral Foundation. This is a finely milled loose powder that comes in a pot, which weighs 9g. It can be used either as a light coverage foundation or can be built up to medium coverage (Amaziiiiiiiiiing). Rather than looking chalky or cakey it has a slightly iridescent quality which creates a dewy glow; in fact I looked so good my sister asked if I had been airbrushed in photoshop, can you say FLAWLESS!! I also used this to set my liquid foundation and to add a bit of extra coverage. Also I use it under the eyes to set my concealer and it doesn’t crease and create wrinkles.
Next favorite is the Bellapierre BB Cream, I love liquid foundations anyway but this gives great coverage and matches to your skin tone more easily. Also I find that I use slightly less of this product than I would with my MAC studio Fix as this has a stronger coverage so less is more, this gives a medium coverage.
Last but not least is the mineral compact. It’s pretty similar to the loose mineral foundation, however if you prefer a handy compact to throw in your bag and take with you. I still prefer the loose mineral foundation as I find I can get a better coverage. Using the compact is great for a top up when I’m out and about. This is a light/medium coverage and although not chalky it doesn’t appear to have the same glowy finish as the loose pigment.
I genuinely love all three foundations but the loose mineral foundation has been a surprise hit. It lasts all day, even when I’ve been getting sweaty in the club seems to stay on pretty well.
Check out this range because the foundations are on point. I also tried one of their lipsticks, which was a lovely day time rosey pink colour called Catwalk. This is of a descent quality but it didn’t blow me away. I love the colour but it doesn’t last as long as my MAC lipsticks for example, however even though it doesn’t feel super high end, I have worn this shade constantly as it’s so flattering.
Over all, these products are now a firm part of my daily routine. I can see myself purchasing these products time and again.
So if you don’t know get to know Bellapierre cosmetics.
