On Saturday 11th January 2014, the casting team behind the hit BBC Two drama series PEAKY BLINDERS will be holding an open casting call in Birmingham for new young talent for a number of roles in the upcoming series.
The 6 x 60 series, which commences filming early 2014, will see the Shelby family expand their empire south and north while maintaining their stronghold in their Birmingham heartland.
The casting team will be searching for people that fit the following criteria:
MALE: Aged 13 – 19 – White
MALE: Aged 15 – 17 – Mixed (black/white) parentage
No previous acting experience is necessary; the team will be looking solely for enthusiasm and an interest in acting for these exciting new roles.
