Finally the Game to Film Adaptation, Assassin’s Creed has finally dropped its first look trailer and visually it stays very close to Ubisoft’s game franchise and takes us back to the Spanish Inquisition.
The film is littered with stars such as Michael Fassbender who teams up with his Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, Michael Kenneth Williams, Callum Turner and Brian Gleeson.
We’re guessing Ubisoft will want to make a money spinning franchise from this new ‘Blockbuster’ style game adaptation but if it’s anything like Prince of Persia which starred Jake Gyllenhaal it could be an almighty fail.
The official synopsis reads; Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
Assassin’s Creed is in Cinemas December 2016.
