ANTS SET TO INVADE UK WITH INAUGURAL SOUTHAMPTON PARTY. The colony will make their South Coast debut in November.
Following another huge season as Ushuaïa’s flagship residency, Ibiza mega-brand ANTS is set to touch down in the UK this Autumn with a huge night at Southampton’s SWITCH club, bringing the finest talents in underground music to its Room 2 ‘Bunker’ venue on Saturday 3rd November.
The party – which will follow the ANTS Halloween spooktacular in Madrid just a few days before – will see Mancunian duo Solardo, winners of DJ Mag’s ‘Best Duo’ award, perform a special 3-hour set. With Secondcity – a performer at ANTS’ 2017 UK foray at the Brixton Academy – also in attendance, the line-up is rounded off by acclaimed pair Eli & Fur, who recently performed at Creamfields, as well as Ronnie Spiteri, and Collective States.
Having enjoyed meteoric growth in stature since the inception of the brand in 2013, the ANTS concept focuses on rugged minimalistic beats from some of the biggest names in the tech-house scene. Staging recent events in Marbella, Venice, and of course, another gigantic Ibiza season, the likes of Andrea Oliva, Pete Tong, and GRAMMY nominees CamelPhat were all in attendance at the idyllic haven of Playa d’en Bossa venue, Ushuaïa.
Taking place on Saturday 3rd November, the ANTS Southampton party follows the brand’s huge UK party at Electric Brixton on NYE 2017 and is sure to prove one of this year’s most hotly anticipated events.
