This home grown artist is bringing out his new EP, ‘7 Minutes Before Time’ featuring the best of the UK with features from Maxta, Wiley, Temps, Giggs, Scorcher, Gfrsh, Sneakbo and Wretch 32.
AnGel has been busy grinding in the scene, building up to this moment where would excel as an artist. He wrote Roll Deep’s number 1 chart hit, ‘Green Light’ as well as writing for pop stars like Pixie Lott.
This dude has built up a buzz on his own, with industry heads getting excited to see what he will do next. This was evident when his self-released YouTube videos gained nearly half a million hits.
His EP is a mix of what AnGel calls “nasty and the nice at the same time.” The track ‘Gleamin’ becomes a West meets East affair when Maxsta and Wiley deliver some crazy bars on the song. AnGel caters to the ladies in the track ‘Raining Girls’.
‘Popstar’ is one of the favourites on the EP; an adrenaline filled track with a crazy rock guitar and a special feature from Giggs.
The EP is most certainly worth a listen for those who get down to RnB, pop, Hip Hop or just simply good quality UK music. AnGeL’s music has been called the most compelling mix of grit and glamour that the UK has seen this year.
