Alexis Kings has announced the release of their brand new single ‘Squire’ via iTunes and all major media providers.
The song is from their soon-to-be-released EP ‘Squire’, which was recorded in Lincoln at Chapel Studios, home to such records as Arctic Monkey’s ‘Whatever People Say I am, That’s What I’m Not’ and Catfish And The Bottlemen’s ‘The Balcony’. The new EP was produced by Chris West, who helped produce Richard Ashcroft’s latest record ‘Keys To The World’.
Squire is the follow-up to their highly successful single, and fan favourite ‘Sugar Darlin’, which the band debuted to a sell-out crowd at Barfly during London’s Camden Rocks Festival on March 27th. On the latest single, Alexis Kings have honed their own brand of melodic sound, by capturing the summer vibe and offering fans a selection of rhythmic and high-energy guitar hooks.
As proven throughout their career, Alexis Kings love to work. Whether writing, recording or touring the band are constantly in motion. It is exciting times for the British four-piece, who are also expected to announce dates for a nationwide tour later this year.
Fans will be expected to get their hands on Alexis Kings new EP from June 24th in the US and UK via Ditto Music. More information can be found on the band’s Facebook page.
