When classical music meets club culture, magic happens. And on Thursday 17th April 2025, the Royal Albert Hall’s iconic dome will see Swiss electronic duo Adriatique become the first DJs to play open to close.

Those same walls that once echoed with Tchaikovsky will now vibrate with deep, melodic techno as attendees experience a sonic transformation.

Adriatique the Zurich-born duo, known for their deep, cinematic soundscapes, will become the first-ever DJs to take over the venue open to close, blending underground intensity with grand orchestral elegance.

With seven sold-out Labyrinth shows under their belt—including a packed-out OVO Arena Wembley in 2024—Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer are no strangers to pushing boundaries. Let’s be real: when you’ve got the production prowess to remix The Weeknd while keeping your underground cred intact, you’re more than crossing boundaries.

Adriatique’s rise from Zurich’s underground to the global stage has been nothing short of a fairytale. Collaborators with Afterlife, Circoloco, and Diynamic, their productions and remixes—spanning RÜFÜS DU SOL, Swedish House Mafia, and The Weeknd—have redefined melodic house and techno. At the Royal Albert Hall, they’re set to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance, welcoming guest vocalists and curating a bespoke production designed exclusively for this historic venue.

This landmark event follows a huge season of Labyrinth takeovers, including Black Coffee’s London-exclusive set, Solomun’s five-hour odyssey, FISHER’s high-energy Thames show, and Anjunadeep’s melodic house showcase. Now, it’s Adriatique’s turn to break new ground.

Adriatique is working with acoustic engineers to map every curve and corner, turning that 150-year-old ceiling into the world’s most prestigious sound system. They’re bringing in custom-designed speaker arrays that complement (not compete with) the hall’s natural resonance. We’re talking about bass that doesn’t just drop—it ROLLS through those historic corridors like thunder.

Pre-sale tickets drop Friday 21st February at 10 AM GMT. Any remaining tickets hit general sale Monday 24th February at 12 PM.
