A group of rappers have recorded a Christmas single to raise money for the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT). With support from Urban Flush, UK rap stars Benjamin AD, Doller, Jay Moezart, Ard Adz and Sho will release ‘Struggle Through The Night,’ through iTunes and Amazon on Christmas Day.
The single endorsed by the ACLT will encourage donors from the black and minority ethnic communities to come forward and promote blood, bone marrow and organ donation.The festive rap song is also accompanied by the heartwarming video below, directed by Urban Flash.
Beverly De-Gale, co-founder of the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, tragicly lost her son Daniel in 1996 after failing to find a donor match. De-Gale, highlights below the importance of how purchasing the single will allow the ACLT to assist those who are affected by leukaemia and all blood related cancers.
Since their launch the ACLT have helped save more than 40 lives as well as increasing people’s chances of finding matching donors by motivating thousands to join the UK’s donor registries.
