Miss Dynamix is the newly formed urban girl group that Flavourmag are tipping to win X Factor 2013. SeSe Foster, Rielle Carrington and Jeanette Akua were given just eight hours of rehearsal time after they were put together but managed to sail through Bootcamp with their rendition of Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’. They would later impress Gary Barlow at judge’s houses with their cover of All Saints ‘Pure Shores’ and make it to the final 12. We have outlined five reasons why these girls will win The X Factor.
They’ve already been compared to Destiny’s Child
Destiny’s child has to be one of the biggest girl groups in history and of course spawned intentional superstar Beyoncé. Miss Dynamix have already been compared to the trio, although it is huge shoes to fill it means we can expect big things from the girls.
Each member has a compelling story
SeSe Foster, 22, is a mother of one with a rumoured baby number two on the way. Rielle Carrington is a 16 year-old student from Manchester and Jeanette Akua, 21, was born and raised in South Africa, moving to Essex just two years ago. With such unique backgrounds were sure the British public are rooting for them to make it.
The girls have great voices
After all The X Factor is a singing competition and each girl can really sing. Their rendition of All Saint’s ‘Pure Shores’ at judges houses won group mentor Gary Barlow over and got them through to the Final 12. Flavourmag predicts that their urban twist on songs during the live shows will go down a treat with the British public.
They have the style
Think Rihanna times three! The three ladies certainly have a great fashion sense and appear well co-ordinated at all times. We’re sure once the live shows start everyone will be on the lookout for what Miss Dynamix will be wearing.
A girl band has won before
Little Mix was the first girl band to win The X Factor in 2011 and was formed in a similar way as Miss Dynamix. All let go as soloists, the judges decided the four girls would be stronger in a band and Little Mix was born. Fast forward two years and Miss Dynamix were put together by Gary Barlow after their solo/group efforts failed to win the judges over. Each week Little Mix showed huge growth and progression – eventually winning the competition. Let’s hope Miss Dynamix follow the same trajectory and go all the way!
