Wednesday 17th October 2012; Hip Hop’s man of the moment 2 Chainz has upgraded his show in the Capital next month due to phenomenal demand, with the live date now taking place at South London’s Electric Brixton. The US Rapper has had his foot flat on the gas in 2012 and hasbeen experiencing major success with hit singles No Lie featuring Drake and Birthday Song featuring Kanye West, taken from the US Number 1 album, ‘Based on a T.R.U Story’.
The Hip Hop heavyweight’s efforts were also recognised at week at the BET Hip Hop Awards, when 2 Chainz picked up three well-deserved trophies; Rookie of the Year, People’s Champ Award and Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse for Mercy, as well as being mentioned in Reese’s Perfect Combo Award alongside Kanye West, Big Sean and Pusha T.
With his “campaign” now at boiling point, this London show will see the culmination of a massive year which has so far seen 2 Chainz release his debut solo and US Number 1 album, ‘Based on a T.R.U Story’, as well as dropping two singles, taking the BET Hip Hop Awards by storm and making guest appearances on Beez In The Trap with Nicky Minaj, Mercy with Kanye West and alongside Snoop Dogg on Chris Brown’s Oh Yeah.
